I love Easter! It's a great time to celebrate all that is spring; sunshine and flowers and beautiful weather. It's also a great time to talk to the kids about Jesus' Atonement and Resurrection. I love having these little talks with my kids and hear that they have a good grasp on what Jesus did for us.
We did the usual stuff...
Coloring eggs with Ashley and Annie, frosting sugar cookies with Daddy,
and making Bunny Bars (or peep treats...a fun jar cookie concoction from my VTs.)

Easter morning...the Easter Bunny was up super late the night before, and was regretful for waiting until the last minute to get the stuff for the basket. Needless to say, there were many other Easter Bunny helpers frantically scouring the Easter section at Walmart looking for jelly beans and under $10 presents. Still, the kids did ok in the Easter basket department.
On to Grandma's for an indoor Easter Egg hunt. The kids were sick Easter weekend, so we couldn't do it on Saturday. By Sunday it was rainy, but the candy is just as good indoors, so no biggie!
