random observations

just trying to document the random musings of my children before i forget...these are from today.

this morning when we're all lounging in bed together:
aidan: "red isn't my favorite color anymore (used to be, because it's lightening mcqueen's color...my baby isn't interested in the movie cars anymore — he's growing up!) because red means STOP. green means GO, so that's why it's my favorite color now."
jack: "gah."

on the way to church:
mia : "vampires live in the forest. i don't like vampires, they're scary."
aidan: "ya. vampires are scary. but they're kind of cool. but they're kind of bad. they drink blood. that's not good."
mia: petrified silence.

during lunch:
mia: "baby dogs are like this tiny (demonstrates about 2 inches with her fingers)."
aidan: "yes, but when they are baby dogs, they are called, puppies."
mia: "but when they're really, really tiny, they're called, pups."
aidan: nods in agreement.
