can you smell it?

fall is finally here! we had a brief fake out a couple weeks ago, then a little return of summer, and finally, i think cooler weather is here to stay. monday night i made valerie's famous peach cobbler (thank you!!!)...with fresh peaches and lots and lots of sugar and butter. you'll have to ask her for the recipe. if you could taste the end of summer and beginning of fall, this would be it. eat it warm out of the oven, top it off with a dollop of vanilla ice cream, and you've got heaven in a bowl.
