First Grade Musical

Here's Aidan's First Grade Musical. He played the part of one of the narrators and had a line which consisted of something like "And his little friend, the mouse!" When it came time for him to deliver it, there was a pause, and I had that tiny moment of panic that only a mother can have when their child is in the spotlight. He did fine, but these photos show just how focused he was.

I think he was pretty nervous. Although Aidan has a great sense of humor, he really takes stuff like this seriously. 

I guess the music teacher had promised that the class that performs the best would get a pizza party or something. I saw Aidan shush the neighboring girls on more than one occasion. He really wanted that pizza party.
